Terms of Use
Last updated: August 31, 2026
The short version
These are open-source packages you run yourself. Use them, modify them, ship them. They come with no warranty, and what you do with them is your responsibility.
1. The software
The huje.tools packages are published on PyPI under the MIT licence unless a package's own repository states otherwise. That statement governs. The licence grants you broad rights to use, modify, and distribute the software, and nothing here restricts those rights.
2. No warranty
Everything is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that any package is free of defects, fits your purpose, or produces correct results.
3. Your responsibility
- You must have the legal right to process any content you run through these packages.
- You are responsible for complying with the law where you operate.
- If a package holds keys or moves value, you are responsible for safeguarding them. Key loss is permanent and we cannot recover it.
4. Limitation of liability
Humanjava Enterprises Inc. is not liable for any loss arising from use of these packages, including loss of keys, funds, or data.
5. Third-party services
Where a package connects to Nostr relays, Lightning wallets, or other external services, those services set their own terms. We are not party to your use of them.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
